for some reason it is not there I ran the command corectly. This seems very odd.

if issuing as root, just use lspci -v.

looks like the modules are all loaded fine. do you have any errors on boot? how about the output of dmesg? what about the fedora info?

at boot when it trys to load somthing like mixer (it goes by fast) it say failed

this looks like a problem

PCI: No IRQ known for interrupt pin A of device 0000:00:06.0. Please try using pci=biosirq.

do you have any other devices that use audio, a webcam maybe? it looks like you may be having an irq problem.

no, but i have 4 speakers cloud that be a problem 1 is pluged into line out port. I use that when I wanna watch dvds in smi-surround sound.

i don't think the speakers are the problem. you could try unplugging all but the ones that are using the audio out. this setup works fine in fedora? just to be sure check that alsamixer is infact installed

locate alsamixer

i'm running out of ideas, the modules needed seem to be loading properly. i've got a hunch that your sound is just muted, and needs to be unmuted. did you have any issues w/the fedora setup at all?

the latest version may be on the install cds. id check that first.

alsa mixer was already installed so I installed aumixer I really don't know how to use it can u help me out?
