Sound card Ymf719-OPL3 SAX - HOWTO?

Hi!
let me start bydeclaring my total newbieness, I know nothing about linux and decided tro try it out just because it seemed like an interesting thing to do.
I got myself RedHat 9 as I thought it would be the easiest one to install.

Now I can't get my Yamaha OPL3 SAx sound card to work...
I've searched for days now, but nothing seems to work...
Could someone help me?

PS. I run on a Toshiba Tecra 8000

opl3-saX

http://www.alsa-project.org/alsa-doc...module=opl3sa2

install help file

sorry it was my falt i put in the wrong link!

p.s. if you cant un zip the files you can open up startx and copy the folder from the zip file to the /usr/src/alsa folder using your explorer (Konqueror)

also when downloading, you only realy need the drivers, librarys and the utilities.

But, I can't get the site to work!!!!!!!!!!

Neither in Mozilla or in Galeon,...

"The operation timed out while attempting to contact www.alsa-project.org"

I've tried to access the site for hours now, it just doesn't work...
