Sound card Xonar DX -- sound test --

Hello,
I am new with Linux, I have Lubuntu 20.04 LTS and a XONAR DX sound card, which is a 7.1 card.
In order to to enable all channels for Pulseaudio, I edit /etc/pulse/daemon.conf: uncomment the default-sample-channels line and set the value to 8, like written here:

https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php..._sound_systems

I have two questions:
1)With command "speaker-test -c8" the sound comes correctly from front,side,rear,central,lfe sound card outputs, but always with no separation for right and left.
Also with youtube left-right tests there is never left/right separation, but the sound comes from both left and right.
I've tried several speakers, headphone, always with the same result, why?

2)I would like to get 8 independent channels, is it my setting in daemon.conf just enough or not?

This is the "aplay - l" command result:
$ aplay -l
