OK, just tell me when I leave out some important piece of helpful information.
I'm trying to get a AD1981A sound card to work. I read around and I'm supposed to use the i810_audio driver. When I try to modprobe it I get errors. If someone can tell me how to copy/paste from xterm that would help the problem a bit. I can't find anything relevant when I scanpci -v The motherboard is based off of i845G I recall hearing that there are problems with the kernel with this chipset. Should I try and use a fairly stable pre-beta of the kernel? I'm so confused right now.
I remember this monster from reading through the changelogs a while back, look at the one for 2.4.20, should be out soon enough... er yeah, whatever, I think I said that about 19 some time around May.
