Sound Card question SUSE 9.1 (on startup)
Linux n00b here.
Running SUSE 9.1.
The sound card works fine EXCEPT for this little nooglie:
When I first boot Linux, the sound card is silent until I go into the hardware manager and select the sound card to configure it. I don't even have to configure it, just go into the list and click finish (without configuring). Then it works fine, even through session-changes. It just does it when the system boots.
Any reasons for this? Permanenet solutions? It'd be nice if the system remembered the card/settings and I didn't have to fool with it each time.
Thanks in advance,
Mark
