sound card problem

I recently installed new alsa (from source) and compiled drivers for my sound card. Now when I log into KDE i get very loud noise becose Front Mic and Front Mic Boost is set to maximum and front microphone I near to laptop speakers so it is producing noise... This happens when I log into KDE, not when modules are loaded nor when KDM login screen starts.. So what could be the problem?
Audio device: nVidia Corporation MCP51 High Definition Audio (rev a2)

Sounds like a KDE audio system "feature". You might be able to play with settings either by typing "kmixer" in konsole, or more drastically by going to the KDE control center (in KDE menu), selecting sound and multimedia, and disabling the KDE sound system.
