Sound card not found

I've seen some questions about this but none of the answers worked for mine, the harddrake does not find the sound card and, of course, it is connected. any idea?

you could check your sound card manufacture's web site for details about getting it to work under linux. If there is no info posted, hassle them vigorously :D
