Might want to look in dmesg log in /var/log to see maybe on what went wrong.

Code:
cat /var/log/dmesg

Hello and welcome to the forum

In addition to rokytnji's suggestion, please tell us the version of Debian you're using and the brand and model (and model number) of your laptop. Also, please go through the instructions here and post (or provide a link to) the results. This might help give us a better idea of what's going on. Thanks!

Regards...

When I type "cat /var/log/dmesg" the computer return nothing.

I'm on Kali linux (Kali 2016-2 / 4.6.0 / amd64) and It's a HP X2 10-P004NF.
I saw a link where some people have a similar problem : https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+s...r/+bug/1561278

for the "wget http://www.alsa-project.org/alsa-info.sh -O alsa-info.sh && bash alsa-info.sh" command, no sound card is detected.

Hi...

Just as a guess, I'd say that there are no drivers for the ALSA and/or kernel version you're using. There was a Ubuntu bug report concerning this here. You could try installing either the newest stable kernel or another distribution with a newer kernel. Perhaps installing a newer version of ALSA would solve the problem, as well.

Regards...

cd /var/log

Those 2 commands should list what is present in /var/log

I usually avoid Kali Linux threads like a Ebola outbreak site. But I am finding it strange as hell that my suggested command returned nothing.

Me too. 99.9% of the Kali threads I've seen are from wannabe script kiddiez. I will just note that user somehow managed to fsck up libasound2 package since the version number for it is blank in the alsa info.

Maybe it is "dmesg.0" you meant. Maybe user needs root permission to read it. Maybe you should have just had the user run:
Code:
dmesg
