well, an easy way to find out would be if you have the kernel source installed to run the config program (cd into the kenrel source path, usually something like /usr/src/linux-2.4.22 and run make menuconfig, then look under the 'sound' option, you might have to check the 'sound card support' option and the oss modules and you will have a good listing of the sound cars supported by that version of the linux kernel
