sound card detection on fedora core3
 
hi every body ,
i have intel 915GAV chipset motherboard and i have installed fedora core 3 on it.but my sound card is not detected.
can u tel me the the whole procedure to make it working.

Hello,

What is the result of lspci ? Do you see your soundcard in the list ?

What makes you think your soundcard is not detected ?

Did you plug the speakers in the right sound card output jack (sorry, it's basic but...sometimes...) ?

Did you check in the mixer (KMix in my case - I use KDE) that the Master output is on and the volume high ?
