Sound Blaster ZxR under Linux/Slackware - Hopeless?

Fair amounts of research (from what I can find) for the Sound Blaster ZxR have pointed me nowhere. If i'm flooding the help line with pointless threads please feel free to remove this post as I'm still acquainting myself with the proper etiquette.
Is there any hope to get a beep out of this card/device running Linux?
Thanks Creative,
Let me know if sysinfo is needed.

The way to go at this is to run 'lspci', and note the bus number of the audio device; run 'lspci -n' and note the pci id which is two four digit hex numbers, e.g. 22a7:1bd3

Put your pci id into google, add the words linux driver OR module, and try your luck.
