Sound Blaster Live! (Dell Version) and HauppaugeTV Tuner

When my computer starts the drivers for the Hauppauge TV Tuner are already loaded and the TV Tuner works except for the sound. If I try to load the sound drivers while the TV is displaying I get a message that says " Another sound driver appears to be installed. Cannot continue. " If the TV is not displaying and I try to load the sound driver, the sound driver disables the TV Tuner drivers and then loads its own drivers. Afterwards the TV Tuner will not work. I have the Sound Blaster Live! that Dell makes so I am using the Open Sound System sound drivers, since they seem to be the only drivers available right now.

If you want more information just ask, but be sure to give specific instructions. I am very new to GNU/Linux.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
