Sound Blaster Live and Debian

I am having issues getting my SB Live running under my Debian install, I dont know which package/source to download and install. When kde starts it says /dev/dsp (no such device).

If you can help me out i would greatly appreciate it.

I found out the answer through other means, but just for future reference or people searching these Forums for answers. All I had to do was type 'modprobe emu10k1'. And it worked. Pretty simple eh?

This is so easy, because your Kernel supports your Hardware with this module. Otherwise for Sound Problems you always can compile the ALSA drivers! www.alsa-project.org
