These forums recieve a LOT of posts/threads, so yours might have been pushed further down the list already. When threads recieve new posts, they get bumped back to the very top. Just sign in, and look down the list. A picture that looks like this:
http://images.linuxquestions.org/que..._hotfolder.gif will indicate that you have posted in that thread (it might not have those three lines at the top, but what you have to look for is the dot). Just look to the right of the post under "Thread starter" and if you see your username, then it's yours
