Sony Bean?

My dad recently got an iPod and gave me his old Sony Bean. While I run completely on Fedora Core 5, is there anyway for me to load songs onto this device on my box or do I have to use a windows box to do it? the drivers that came on the CD are windows only, did someone make a 3rd party version? I tried doing a google search and kept coming up with the same news that iPod and a few large companies are starting to give support to Linux but nothing else.

Because Sony uses the proprietary ATRAC encoding, Linux support is non-existent. You could try using WINE or a virtual pc, but I believe Windows to be your best bet.
