Someone PLEASE help me with my sound :'(

Well, I'm running Mandrake 9.1 with an Audigy 2 Platinum Ex.

The original driver was audigy but I changed it to emu10k1 on advice.

Same problem. When I unmute it in Aumix, everything drops to 0. Then, when I move them back up, save, exit, and reenter, MUTE ALL IS BACK ON.

I even reinstalled the emu10k1 drivers.

In my modules.conf it says:

alias sound-slot-0 emu10k1

I tried just "alias sound emu10k1" but it didn't seem to work.

Any other ideas??

have you edited the emu10k1.conf file that came with emu10k1 tools?? Did you install the emu10k1 tools??? After you edit the script you can save mixer levels buy putting this in the modules.conf...........post-install emu10k1 /usr/local/etc/emu-script
