slow nvidia fx 5700 ultra

I have a nvidia card (fx 5700 ultra) that seems to get me 10 fps in America's Army...
In windows I get 60 fps!!! What am I doing wrong?

Yes, I have dri enabled...

help me please, cause I wanna change to linux and if my card gives a serious fps I am deleting that windows partition... oh, please post your fps if you have a fx 5700 ultra under linux

thats your problem, you have dri enabled, and if you do i assume you didn't install the nvidia drivers ...
once you download the IA32 driver set on www.nvidia.com, then you can follow these instructions to install them ..

great... I did install the nvidia drivers...
So uh... I guess that
1) my kernel doesn't fully support my mainboard
2) the drivers suck, which probably isn't
3) my xf86config is wrong (yes, i deleted dri... and even manually modprobed nvidia)
4) something else I don't know I need to change...

any other ideas drOzz?

thx for the info...
