slmodem working on suse 10, but.......

Hi, i've installed suse 10.0 with kernel 2.6.13 and i had to work a lot to make this fuc*ing modem work.
When i had suse 9.2, i didn't have any problems, but now, with this new kernel, it's very difficult.

I've downloaded and installed the following packages:
slmodem-2.9.11-20051101.tar.gz
ungrab-winmodem.tar.gz

This 2 packages make my modem work fine, but when i restart or just turn on my computer,
If i run "slmodem" it doesn't work, first i have to insert the modules(ungrab-winmodem, slamr)as root:

# modprobe ungrab-winmodem
# modprobe slamr

and then install again the "slmodem-2.9.11-20051101.tar.gz" package as root.

The problem it is not to insert the modules, this can be initiated when linux start, but it is very uncomfortable to install the "slmodem-2.9.11-20051101.tar.gz" every time i want to connect to the Internet.

Is there anything i can do to make this change????

Thanks!!!!!

I fix the problem, i was reading the lines on the terminal when i was installing the "slmodem-2.9.11-20051101.tar.gz" package and i saw a line that didn't know what was doing, so i restarted the computer and just write as root the line:

mknod -m 600 /dev/slamr0 c 242 0 ; mknod -m 600 /dev/slamr1 c 242 1 ; mknod -m 600 /dev/slamr2 c 242 2 ; mknod -m 600 /dev/slamr3 c 242 3 ; echo -n

And that make my modem works fine.
Now i'm creating a script to load the modules, run that line and run "slmodemd"-

Hope this help other users with the smart link modem.

Bye-
