Having trouble installing a piece of hardware? Want to know if that peripheral is compatible with Linux?

SLi - verifying if it's enabled

I think it's enabled because Doom3 runs really smooth at highest settings, but Unreal Tournament 2004's FPS counter has dropped 50%. That also seems weird because there is a visible increase in smoothness of objects, but the fluidity of the motion is not consistent.

Her's my setup:

Asus A8N32-SLi Deluxe
2GB (1GB PNY CAS 2.5 DDR400 modules x2)
Athlon 64, 3500+ (not o/c)
Sound Blaster Audigy 2 sound
PNY Nvidia 7600GT video cards (same make/model)
SuSE Linux 10.1 (64-bit)
Seagate 300GB SATA-II (3GB/s, 16MB cache, 7200RPM) hard drive.
Antec 550W SLi-ready power supply

System temps run at 38C under load (two Tornado fans; one on CPU heatsink and the other in back)

I reinstalled the Nvidia video driver (8774) and used the command "nvidia-xconfig -sli=SLIAA" to update X; my understanding is that this is the best option to use for games that use more CPU time (such as UT2004).

Nvidia X Power Settings module only detects one thermal meter, but /sbin/lspci | grep -i vga reports two video cards:
03:00.0 VGA compatible controller: nVidia Corporation Unknown device 0392 (rev a1)
06:00.0 VGA compatible controller: nVidia Corporation Unknown device 0392 (rev a1)

Could there be a PCI latency issue I am overlooking? And is the "unknown device" suggesting the nvidia driver can't quite figure out which model it is? (this is odd as Doom3's performance is blisteringly fast, and UT2004 - apart from an appearingly reduced framerate, has detail and depth I've never seen before.)

Thanks much!
