Slackware 14 not reading my EHDD at all

Hi, I'm not able to read any jump drives, ehdds or anything of that nature with my slack 14 clean install. The filesystems are freebsd and ext4 journaling or w/e.

Other questions.

What type of file systems are automatically read and able to mount on slackware. If they are read but sometimes aren't able to access them and modify download or retrieve anything off these devices, How would I mount them to get the information off them.

Did you make your user a member of the plugdev group? http://docs.slackware.com/slackbook:users?s[]=groups

No how do I modify groups and any other important groups?
