Slackware 14.2 Audio Amplitude Drops
I use Slackware 14.2 running with Trinity desktop, and my audio keeps experiencing a drop in output amplitude while surfing the internet with Firefox/SeaMonkey, watching videos from youtube, and movie websites.
The audio amplitude drops about 50%, at any random time. Sometimes it drops after 10 minutes, sometimes it drops within a minute, and other times it takes an hour before it drops.

No solutions, but some thoughts as to ways to shoot this trouble:
What computer make/model is this?
What is the audio chipset?
Are you using built-in or external speakers/headphones?
If it happens with, say, built-in speakers, does it also happen with external speakers/headphones?
Try starting an audio application from the command line, then, when the problem occurs, check whether any error messages are thrown to the terminal.
Let us know what happens, one way or the other.
