I am using slackware and want to install my Lexmark PrinTrio X1150 printer to work on it. I found these instructions through LQ:
http://ca.geocities.com/freshshelf@r...all_x1185.html
However, when I try to execute the following command:
rpm -if z600llpddk-2.0-1.i386.rpm
I get the following messages:
error: Failed dependencies:
/bin/sh is needed by z600llpddk-2.0-1
libc.so.6 is needed by z600llpddk-2.0-1
libc.so.6(GLIBC_2.0) is needed by z600llpddk-2.0-1
libc.so.6(GLIBC_2.1.3) is needed by z600llpddk-2.0-1
I know this is a RedHat driver, but why would bin/sh fail as a dependency? Is there anyway around this?
Could I possibly just do the whole install process through KDE? Thanks alot.
