Hey all...
I have a Sony Vaio PCG-GRT100P. I'm experiencing this same problem with the stock RedHat 9 kernel (2.4.20-8). I updated to 2.4.22, and once I succeeded in getting it to boot (Kudzu keeps locking up, so I told chkconfig to stop loading it), the problem still exists. I've tried various different things, but even using the standard i686 configuration from the RedHat kernel (with 'make oldconfig') it still doesn't work.
Is the kernel-2.4.21-bk15 patch part of 2.4.22? Any ideas of what I can do to make this work?
Also, any ideas how I can get this to work? Any module parameters I can use? Any bleeding-edge patches I can try?
Does anybody else here have a PCG-GRT100P? Anyone know anyone who does?
Thanks in advance for any help you can offer...
