SiS 746 support

Hey all,

I just started using linux a month ago, and I absolutely love it! There was only one (major) problem: I could never get my 3d acceleration working, I have a Radeon 9200SE and ASRock K7S8X mobo, based on the SiS 746 chipset.

I finally found out what the problem was: the AGPGart module could not load, the error said something like "This SiS chipset (id=0746) is not supported. Try agp_try_unsupported=0." That option didn't work either.

So does anybody know what I could do? Or what I have to upgrade to get this chipset's AGP supported? Any help is really appreciated.

Manuel
