SilverCrest Webcam Driver?

Hello.
I've bought a SilverCrest 1.3mpx webcam. You can see its specs here:

http://www.mysilvercrest.de/en/artikel.php?a=27

I can't get it to work. I've searched around, but can't find any Linux drivers for it. It didn't work when I plugged it in.
All dmesg said is:

usb 3-2: new high speed USB device using ehci_hcd and address 6
usb 3-2: configuration #1 chosen from 1 choice

lsusb on the other hand was a tad more detailed:
2710 eMPIA Technology, Inc. SilverCrest WebCam

Also, here are my system's specs:
Debian Etch
Kernel 2.6.16-1-k7
AMD Athlon XP 2600+
Asus A7N8X-X

Can anyone help me get this thing to work?

Generically speaking GNU/Linux determines what driver to load depending on the chipset. The Linux-USB device overview website shows this: http://www.qbik.ch/usb/devices/searc...bmit=Search%21 which matches your lsusb vendor ID tag, so unfortunately it looks like is not supported. If you are able to get a refund, check the LQ HCL for cams that are supported.
