Silicon Image (SiI 0680A) IDE controller

How can i get this work controller to read the harddrives i have on it? i have Drivers -> ATA .. -> Silicon Image chipset support compiled into the kernel

is there anything else i need to do to get my harddrives to show up?

EDIT:
running on kernel 2.6.12.2

After searching very hard i found a thread that related to the 2.4.26 kernel and tryed it and it work...if anyone else was having problems i found the solution here...
