Sounds like a mechanical problem with the keyboard itself. If possible, pop the keys and clean things out. Most likely you've got various dust and debris interfering with the shift key operation.

Alternatively, replace the keyboard with a new one. From what you've described, this isn't either a Slackware or Linux issue. Good luck with it and Welcome to LQ!

I tried cleaning it and it works fine with windows. I am guessing it has to do with my uptime. But neways I wll figure out.

Sanx for the welcome

LOL. I don't remember ever having to remove blackheads from my keyboard. Of course, they wouldn't show because it's black - except for the illuminated letters, numbers, etc.

Something to do with "pearly papules". That sounds like a future Ubuntu release. Ubuntu Pearly Papules.

Wink shift key of my keyboard wont work

if both shift keys are not working and all others working then there may be some prob with your keyboard settings. if only one is not working.. then problem is in your keyboard!!
