Sharing printers for W2K clients with RH9

Having just upgraded from RH8 to RH9 I find my W2K clients can't see the printers they used to! The Linux server has 2 printers attached and when it was RH8 it was a cinch to set up, I just went through the KDE Gui tool and on the W2K clients went to "add printer" which scanned the network and found them immediately. I see with RH9 its all different (CUPS) but the gui tool is similar, it let me add the 2 printers, assign queues, share them and test locally - all fine. The problem now is try as I might I just can get the w2k clients to see them as before. Anyone any clues please?

Perhaps setting up a samba printer share would help?
