I've just burned a data DVD-R (1x speed), it tokes about 35 minutes for 4.2 Gb, real speed -+2x
For not fail the burn (buffer under run) i've make first a master image and then wrote the DVD, perhaps it should work
on the fly but my experence in burning is so worst with CD's without writing an image that i've deed it also with creating an image and then burn the DVD (It was my first DVD burning).

I took out my cd-rom and put in the dvd-/+rw without changing anything. I'm able to mount cd's and dvd's fine and see thier files.
Now how do I get the burning functions working?
