Setting up a HP 660C shared printer through a Windows network

I added a printer to Linux and setup Samba to print through my Windows network, and amazingly, it worked the first time! But there is one problem - it prints out all this jibba jabba instead of what it should print. Just for a test, I printed out a thread from these forums through Mozilla, and here's what it printed:

%!PS-Adobe-3.0
%%BoundingBox: 18 18 558 720
%%Creator: Mozilla Postscript module (

... but I didn't allow the print job to go past the first page. Does anybody know why it prints this? Thanks!

Have you played around with using different drivers in CUPS or whatever printing protocol you're using?

Since I still have NO idea how you set this printer up, I can't tell you. If it was me, I would run Control Center in KDE, Peripherals, Administrator, right click, Add printer/class, and select Local Printer or Remote CUPS server. After that, I would enter kprinter -d nameofmyprinter \ as the command line to run in Mozilla for printing.
Of course, that's what I would do. Also, if I was asking a question on Linuxquestions.org I would provide all of the relevant information on my problem at hand like...oh I don't know... maybe what program I used to setup the printer. I would also Google for information on setting up my printer in Linux and check www.linuxprinting.org.

Oh, duuuuuhhhhh ...

I selected HP 660C, but didn't realize it was a directory in the driver setup. I mistakenly double-clicked it and holy cow like 5 drivers popped up. Now it works beautifully that I've selected a driver lol ... I guess I'm still a noob ...
