Setting up a dual head for NVIDIA FX 600

I am a real newbie, I mean a real newbie. I got Fedora Core 4 installed, and nothing. I am trying to get it to work with the NVidia FX 600 dual head display, but I have no idea even where to start, I've seen some instructions saying to log out of the XServer, and I thought CTRL+ALT+F1 did that, but apparently not, and I still can't install the driver. Can somebody please give me some assistance.

The key combo takes you to the first virtual console X will still be running I believe that on Fedora you need to use init 3 as root at that console to get out of the X run level. What you need to do is edit your Xorg conf file can you post that file (/etc/X11/xorg.conf) here and the details on your monitors eg. vertical and horizontal refresh rates they support plus how they are arranged on your desk. Also can you post the section of the /var/log/Xorg.0.log that looks like this.

Code:
(--) PCI: (0:10:0) Brooktree Corporation Bt878 Video Capture rev 17, Mem @ 0xfdffd000/12
(--) PCI:*(1:0:0) nVidia Corporation NV35 [GeForce FX 5900XT] rev 161, Mem @ 0xfb000000/24, 0xe8000000/27
Also which do you want for the display do you want one desktop across both screens or two separate desktops one on each monitor and what resolutions do you want them to be.

Let me get back to you guys on this. I don't want to leave this thread for death. But I want to span one desktop across two screens, one "RightOf" the other one, where the left one is the main. Somebody helped me setup one like that, but I can't get this one done right. I have two 21" Dell 2001FP monitors, same monitors, and I think they go 1600 X 1200 landscape. I'll try to get the xorg.conf file soon, but I had to pack it up and move it somewhere else.
