How do I make setkeycodes permanent?

After setting scancode-keycode pairs with setkeycodes, the extra keys on my keyboard work beautifully, but when I restart the computer they are erased. How can I make them permenant, or at least have setkeycodes executed on boot?

Well the keys don't show up in xev. Probably because they don't have keycodes until I set them with setkeycodes, because then xev, and therefore xmodmap, work. I just need setkeycodes to be permanent.

I have already mapped my keycodes to keysyms. I need to map the scancodes to keycodes... permanently, so I don't have to execute "setkeycodes 0xf3 148 0xf4 149 etc..." manually after every boot as I am now.

So, my question remains, how can I map scancodes to keycodes permanently?

Is there some sort of script I can make/ammend "setkeycodes..." to have setkeycodes executed on each boot?
