serial USB converter baud rate
I am trying to connect my Cisco 2950 switch to the Prolific serial USB converter but minicom 2.1 throws out a lot of illegel characters so I am guessing it's a baud rate issue? Here's my minicomrc

pu port /dev/ttyU0
pu baudrate 9600
pu bits 8
pu parity N
pu stopbits 1

Here's the log for the converter (/var/log/messages) -

Feb 3 08:27:22 red /bsd: uplcom0 at uhub1 port 2
Feb 3 08:27:22 red /bsd:
Feb 3 08:27:22 red /bsd: uplcom0: Prolific Technology Inc. USB-Serial Controller, rev 1.10/3.00, addr 2
Feb 3 08:27:22 red /bsd: ucom0 at uplcom0

I tried baud rate 4800 but it doesn't do anything and setting it to 19200 just makes minicom hangs.

Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks.
