serial ports through usb hub

I need to talk to several serial ports. I was thinking of having a bunch of USB to serial cables and then plugging all of them into a USB hub, which goes to the computer. What I want to know is, will I see each serial port as a separate thing? With 1 USB to serial cable and no hub, I see /dev/ttyUSB0. With this hub, will I see /dev/ttyUSB0, /dev/ttyUSB1, etc?

Yep, I use these converters all the time. Your code will see them as usb0.. Only one thing to look out for, some are temperamental, some will not work all together and others the chip appears to fry and stop working after a few hours. Also some brands of PC's don't appear to like these, I've had trouble with Acer and in particular Dell! Under Linux or windows.
Also cost appears to have nothing to do with it I've use 50 pound industrial converters with don't work well and 3.99 cheap imports which work fantastic.
