Seperate line in/mic input

Is it possible to assign the line in port of a sound card to one /dev/dsp, and the mic port to another /dev/dsp using ALSA? Or any other arrangement that would allow two TV tuners to operate off of one 3-port card for MythTV? Seems like this should be something possible to do.

Or, can anyone point me to a simple 3-port (I don't need any fancy 5.1 stuff) sound card (a link to it on sale) that they know works in Linux? I bought one that should've worked, but it freezes my computer after a few minutes of use.
