selecting IRQ for each device

Hey!

I think i have too many devices on IRQ 5 (professional sound card, firewire bus, 2 usb buses, SMBus) and that causes my usb port to be unusable.

How can i set different irq to those different devices (i can't do it in my crap bios)?

Thanks a lot in advance

Manu

most modules accept a irq option when they are modrpobe'd or insmod'd. you can do this via modprobe.conf on fc4:

alias snd-card-0 snd-intel8x0
options snd-card-0 index=0 irq=7
