Select wireless mouse for Ubuntu 12.04 LTS, System76 laptop, kernel 3.2.0-39-generic

I would like to get a wireless mouse that would work well with my System76 Pangolin Performance laptop, which is running Ubuntu 12.04 LTS and xmonad version 0.10. The kernel is 3.2.0-39-generic. I would greatly appreciate suggestions about which wireless mice to consider and which to avoid.
