Seagate Scorpion 24 Tape drive

I have a seagate #std22400N drive that I need to install for my tape backups. What SCSI card do you recommend for this? I am using FC3 for the moment. Also I have never run a true SCSI device in linux only emulated for the old kernels for cd burning. I am using kernel 2.6.14....
