sdparm and seagate ST325082 3A

Hi
I could'nt manage to spin down this external USB with sdparm command.
Is there something special to achieve to spin that one down?
Clue?
thanks

Did you use the '--flexible' option? I have some drives that won't spin down without it. Also, if your drive is a combo (USB/Firewire), I've found that some will only respond to the stop command on one interface or the other, but not both.
