SCSI problems


hello
i use mandrake 9.1 and i got some scsi problems
the OS is running from an ide hd
i have an adaptec scsi adapter and 4 scsi hard drives connected to it and working on windows
the linux recognizes the adapter,but no drives! (no /dev/sd*)
what do i do?

If everything is working with windows I will assume the hardware is ok.
What is the model number of the SCSI controller?

What is the output of the command cat /proc/proc/scsi?

What is the output of the command lsmod?
