SCSI error brings down system


My server is outputting the follwing to screen and then starts dropping of services and performance. A reboot has resolved the issue, temporarily.

I can tell that this is a hardware error but which device?
And how can i stop it from bringing down the system?

to make this a really issue - i found that HUPing cucipop stops the errors. But for how long.....
