SCSI card

I am looking at building a new computer and would like to use scsi hard drives. The problem i am facing is that the mobo i want to use doesn't have scsi built in.
Can I use a scsi controller card plugged into a pci slot for the scsi hard drives?
Here is the mobo i want to use.

SCSI cards

Yes you can use a PCI SCSI card. What distribution are you planning
on using? Check the hardware compatibility on this website and
the distro your planning on using. Adaptec is probably better
supported then most controllers.

Thanks.
I use Slackware almost exclusively (have been known to play with gentoo, suse and lfs).

A reasonably priced card that will probably work for you with that board will probably be the Adaptec 19160, Newegg sells it for $135.
