Question Screen is shaky

I installed SuSE 8.0 successfully and it detected all my hardware just fine. Though, if I come out of a screen saver of my screen has been on for a bit, the image will begin to shake or jitter from side-to-side. I have rarely seen this in windows, adn it always went away. Though, in Linux, once it starts, it doesn't seem to stop.

I've got a ASUS AGP-V38000 Deluxe. My setting are:

1024X768, 16 bit/ 65536 colors
Refresh Rate: 75 Hz
3D Acceleration - Disabled
Monitor - Korea KDS @VIEW K770

Thanks,

Erik

The autoprober for XFree 4.x.x is good, but never great. You should probably hand edit /etc/X11/XF86Config by hand and put in the vert and horiz info for your monitor in by hand. What's in there under the section "Monitor"?

Cheers,

Finegan
