scratching my head...

This really isnt a linux question, but I would like some opinions on this.

I am building a new gaming pc, and I am trying to make up my mind on a graphics solution.
I have 3 choices baised on my budget.

1. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16814127357 I can get 2 of these for SLI

2. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16814130338 or 1 of these with no SLI

3. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16814500039 2 of these for SLI

what do you think ?

Get 2 stock clocked 9600GT for $120 each, and don't look back. Your GPUs will be obsolete anyway by the time you can use 2GB of video memory.
I have one and I am very very happy with it. It's market placement in terms of performance is between 8800GS and 8800GT, yet it beats the hell out of 8800GT in terms of price. 8800GS was reintroduced as 9600GS due to low sales, its just as bad as it was then, so don't bother with it (9600GS). One more thing, 9600GT will run fine with Arctic Cooling, meaning COMPLETELY FANLESS, there are cards you can buy that come with Arctic Cooling, or spend $20-$25 installing it yourself.
