aspartat LQ Newbie Registered: Dec 2004 Posts: 29 Rep:	scanner with udev only - possible? Hi, Is it possible to get a usb-scanner working without hotplug, just with udev? How could this be realised? I add a rule, to let udev create a dev-entry, but "sane-find-scanner" and "scanimage -L" did no show me my scanner. So has someone of you an idea how I could realize this, or is it just impossible? regards Thorsten
