SB audigy and PCI 128


i got a problem with my slackware:

my audigy doesnt work and my pci128 doesnt either!

i have tryed the how.tos for emu10k1 module and i get this message all the time:

bash-2.05b# modprobe emu10k1

/lib/modules/2.4.22/kernel/drivers/sound/emu10k1/emu10k1.o: insmod /lib/modules/2.4.22/kernel/drivers/sound/emu10k1/emu10k1.o failed

Slackware, as of 9.1 is now an ALSA distro...

Also, hotplugging is up and running... so I hate to say this, but I'm willing to bet that slack loaded the alsa modules instead, and alsa is muted by default, so try alsaconf and see if it brings up mixer settings.
