SATA Raid on Slackware

I'm in search of an SATA Raid controller that will be supported by Slackware 9 (Note: I already posted to the Slackware-specific forum). All the ones I've researched so far only indicate other dists such as SuSe and RedHat.
Sadly, I can't afford to just buy them all and try them....

-with thanks,
Mike

Step in the right direction...

mscott-
You seem to be encountering the same issue as I am. Check out this forum and see if it helps you at all... I have been on this for weeks now.
