i have AMD Athlone XP 64 2800+ & ASUS K8S-MX Motherboard, Segate 80 GB SATA HDD. While installing RHEL 4 BETA i got message that "no HDD fond". & giving me options for device driver.
can any one tell me which driver i should select?

make sure you are using a kernel higher than 2.4.29. SATA support was added in this revision.
Also, under block devices is where you normally find SATA support with modules
I am having the same problem with SuSE 9.2 Pro (kernel version 2.6.8-24): 2 SATA drives. I tried to install it, but when booted from the CD, it said that no harddisk drives were detected. I was able to install Mandrive LE2005, but still want to install SuSE.
