SATA in RH9


I have to 80G SATA drives set up RAID 0 using promise raid controller. WHen i try installing RHL 9 the install can't even find the drives to install onto. I tried using the promise drivers from their website bt they don't work in RH9 only 7.3 and 8.0 Can some1 please help me out and let me know what to do? Thanks alot!

Options:

1. Install newer kernel which supports your hardware. Have you searched the forums for your specific setup? There is lots of SATA discussion here.

2. Set BIOS to put disks in 'compatibility mode', so they behave like standard ATA.

3. Wait to see if more knowledgeable person answers
