Sata Hardware Raid 1 Controller Card????

Hello All,
I have a intel 845GVSR motherboard, i want to connect two 80GB SATA harddiscs via a "SATA HARDWARE RAID[1] CONTROLLER CARD" that supports Fedora Core 3.. any inputs on the matter are a well come...

Well it should work. Just make sure you choose the right kernel image and it should work fine. I use slackware for for a raid configuration I have to choose the kernelimage called raid.s for raid to work.

Hopefully it is similar for your distro and you get it working!

Hello All,
My Requirement:
1]Should be PCI comapatible
2]Should Support 2 SATA harddiscs[RAID 1]
3]If the first Harddisc CRASHES the second should take off automatically.[this is to be a first responsibality of the HARDWARE RAID[1] CONTROLLER CARD]

My HOST Configuration:
Motherboard:845 GVSR
Prossesor:P4 2.8Ghz

Anybody Plz guide me with links to a card that fullfills my requirement
